Wednesdays episode saw our Celebs learning the rudiments of hairdressing and didn’t they do well- well almost all of the! Georgia managed not to spill anything which was a first for her and what about Aisleyne? She certainly surprised everyone with her flair for hair.

Abi’s competitive side started to come out and she really went for it doing a fantastic job but it wasn’t enough to beat Aisleyne who couldn’t have been more proud of her achievement in being the task winner. Phone calls to Dad & all the family ensued but has Mum responded to it yet? You can’t help but feel for her in her desperate longing for mum’s approval. Hope all works out for you both!

Calum was the big surprise of the day. He really bombed on this task and his frustration was palpable but he made up for it by coordinating a great dinner cooked by the English Celebs for the Irish Celebs, over taking the Queens visit to Ireland as the most historical act this year! Wink! But all credit where credi is due CalumBest could definitely be head chef any day.

In tonight’s final episode the Celebs face their ultimate task and must combine all the skills they learned at Coogan Bergin with hairdressing, make up and style co-ordination. Georgia & Abi are the only celebs who have not won any single challenge but that doesn’t mean they won’t walk away with the prize. If they can pull it all together on the day then they could win the title of ‘Best in Beauty’.

So get ready for the thrilling finale which has more than one surprise in store. Celebrity Salon may be coming to an end but we will be back with a final round up of the series, throughout the coming year we will continue to bring you fantastic offers and events and might even have updates on how our Celebs are doing post series. Coogan Bergin and Celebrity Salon might even have to buy a wedding hat if a certain relationship continues to blossom!!

On Monday’s episode, in which they learned about tanning, they bade a sad farewell to Sheila at Coogan Bergin who has managed to impart as much theory on the cast as possible over the past ten days. Even Aisleyne was a bit teary eyed to learn they wouldn’t be going back to the college again.

The tanning challenge which should have proved easy seemed to really catch some by surprise with as much tan ending up on the floor as on the models. Perhaps it was the sculpted bodies of those male models which put the girls off their stroke!! All except Abi that is, who seemed to revel in the task even if the outcome wasn’t  quite good enough to win.

What can one say about the guys? They were complete pros and certainly did the best work, with Alan reigning supreme. There could be a real upset here and the girls better watch out. At the end of four challenges, three have been won by the guys.

We could forgive the girls for the poor showing in the beauty challenges if they had stepped up to the plate in getting  dinner together but only Rosanna seemed to be in any way acquainted with a kitchen. Calum already has proven skills in the kitchen and Alan rose to the task and prepared a great spag bol but somehow Georgias hair managed to make its way into it. Pretty disgusting!

In tonights episode the Celebs are going to be learning about hair styling. This could be scary. The task includes cutting and styling so sit back and prepare for another roller coaster edition of Celebrity Salon.

They were genuinely upset to learn that they wouldn’t be back in the college again but the hairdressing tasks are calling and it’s time to move on. Even Aisleyne wanted to stay and do more theory now that she knows what it is!!

It helped that we surprised them all by going out to the Celeb house last night to treat them to some pampering treatments. When they got over the initial shock of seeing the Coogan Bergin team arrive unannounced to their crib (they thought we were there for some more theory!)  they soon relaxed and got into pamper mode.

It was interesting to see the treatments they picked, Abi wanted a massage and pedicure, Alan opted for a Collagen facial which set off a craze when the others saw the instant results. Gellish nails were also popular and we created a signature nail colour for Rosanna by blending different ones together to achieve the look she wanted- really fab!

Sheila got really lucky when Calum Best asked her to give him a pedicure so she had the unique opportunity of giving him a foot massage whilst he watched Man United battle it out with Chelsea on TV. It was as close to perfect as it can be for any man- your favourite club in winning form on the box,  beer in hand, surrounded by beautiful women in beautiful surroundings and someone is giving you the perfect foot massage at the same time- Priceless!!

I think Calum got his way out of doing those nasty Bust treatments by landing the Job of salon manager and managed to engage in a very sneaky bit of self promotion for his fragrances. In truth we couldn’t blame him, we’d do the very same ourselves. It might be worth offering him a position here at Coogan Bergin heading up the retail side of things!! And what about him winning the make- up challenge? Well done to him, it might start him thinking about launching a new makeup range to go with the fragrance…just kidding Calum!

We think the last part of Wednesday’s episode was the closest any reality TV program has ever come to being really real. It will surely help to show people in a different light from before. And poor Aisleyne, after the painful admission about her Mum she felt so vulnerable that she just had to come out with the biggest clanger of all times. She has since personally assured me, that this is a burning question many women want to ask of gay men!

In tonight’s episode we are going to be looking at hands and feet. It’s amazing just how phobic some people are about touching another person’s feet. One thing for sure, we’re not going to have any ‘Fergie’ moments in it or are we? Tune in to this summer’s hottest show ‘Celebrity Salon’ to find out!!

Aisleyne was a bit surprised by the notion of ‘theory’ but she soon got into the swing of it and really loved the ‘Learning’ experience. Being a bit on the squeamish side we’re not sure that Beauty Therapy would be a natural choice for her *cough cough but she certainly is willing to have a go. She definitely got the hardest waxing client, whose legs were among the hairiest you would ever come across and test even the most experienced professional. She did a good job but not sure who perspired more- the client or herself!! The boys had fun and but maybe were a tad out of their element. I’m on the girl’s side though and they made us ladies proud! Go girls!

In tonight’s second show we are going to be looking at skin and body treatments. There are some great moments and lots of laughs so get set for another great edition of this summer’s hottest show on TV Celebrity Salon filmed on location here at Coogan Bergin.

So it’s finally here!! Celebrity Salon with Calum Best , Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, Alan Hughes, Rosanna Davison, Abi Titmuss and Georgia Salpa start on TV3 tonight at 9.30pm. We had so much fun filming the show here at Coogan Bergin Beauty Clinic and College that we will have the popcorn ready to go and the remote in hand to tune in and see the antics ourselves.

All the Celebs were great sports and I dare say one or two could have a career in Beauty if they wanted a change from the glamour. The Coogan Bergin Beauty Clinic and College has had many people through the doors over our long history and we always aim for the 5 star treatment for all our clients or students.
